Cabo de Gata - Níjar

At the end of January I went to visit a friend of mine who is 'overwintering' in Andalusia as the winter in Germany is too cold to live in the bus. We stayed with in her bus at the 'Cala del Plomo' a little beach that forms part of the 'Parque Natural del Cabo de Gata - Níjar'.
Such a great week! Waking up with the sunrise, breathing pure and fresh air and taking some quick baths in the cold sea. And what an interesting and dry but beautiful countryside that is, so different! Those 'Spaghetti-Western' have been shot there. Wandering around you understand why and are able to almost see cowboys riding their horses!

These pictures are taken in San José, a tiny village that you can only reach by walking over the hills or by boat from the next town. There might be living around 10 people, peacefully, in their own built tiny houses.

Oh how I loved to be there, having time to think and to relax.

El Viaje / The Journey

Two weeks ago my postgraduate course started and we get to listen to a very wise and lovely man, reviewing and comenting us his professional life and giving some little advices on our way to become good professionals too. They say that when he once was asked what is his goal in life, he responded 'to be a good person'. This could seem a little pathetic. But this man is not pathetic at all. From this short moment I spent with him I would say this man reached his goal.
Thinking of people and working with people the question rises, who or what is a person? He summerized that it is not only the body, not only the brain or the the interactions that makes a person, ...it is his/her life-journey. So, "I'll go on my journey, and dreaming I will depart. I know that I don´t know who I am anymore and even where I will go. But, I konw that a journey is dicovery"

Back from a little pause

I love this contiguous existence of mordern and old.

I am back from my summer holidays. We've been to Valencia, such a lovely city, but also soo warm! Walking around the city the shadows guided our way. I am also back from the first weeks of stress of being back into the daily work life. But although it is a bit stressy it´s going great and I also took a decision for the near future, I enroled to a postgraduate study. 

Also, on Saturday I went to a concert of this great voice and I think it was the first time I went to concert alone. I was a bit afraid whether I could really enjoy it or if I wouldn´t miss to share the moment with someone and whether I wouldn't feel to uncomfortable....but I had fun! Maybe also because she danced and had a good moment on the stage in a way that you didn't felt alone?!
